    Michael’s knowledge spans every aspect of the construction life-cycle, and his hands-on approach to supporting the team is evident in each project’s outcome.

    Michael is a highly communicative, decisive and results-driven leader. His long-standing client relationships are a testament to his determination to ensure every project is completed to the highest possible standards.

     

     

    Sam Awad

    Position: Managing Director

    Sam knows exactly what it takes to build and run a business, guided by more than 20 years of industry experience.

    He’s overseen the delivery of hundreds of large scale and government projects across all sectors – and brings with him an extensive network of loyal and quality subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

    Sam’s ability to make ‘first-mover’ decisions have resulted in immense growth for Girvan. He is committed to mentoring and coaching future leaders within the business.

    Aaron is a highly motivated Director with over 17 years collective experience in the construction industry.

    Aaron is responsible for all our Sales, Marketing and Pre-construction initiatives working across multiple sectors nationally.

    Aaron is actively involved in the business’s growth, striving for excellence in our client relationships and strategic business development.

    From construction to site-management and project management, Phil boasts an unparalleled depth of knowledge from his 30 years’ experience in tier one construction and fit-out.

    He is a passionate leader, and his expertise and guidance is an invaluable tool to our teams and staff members.

    Phil manages all our delivery operations nationally and ensures Girvan programs and qualities are always upheld.

     

     

    Steve Bowers

    Steve has over 30 years of experience working in fit out and refurbishment in Australia and the UK. He has vast experience across many sectors including multi-level commercial office fit out, education, retail and government projects.

    With 10 years of senior management experience Steve believes strongly in his team, providing guidance, experience, and a calm head to lead from the front. Steve’s enthusiasm for fit out and refurbishment is infectious throughout his team and clients, Steve understands the whole build from start to finish as well as having a strong focus on Business Development.

    Elliot Gooch

    Position: Queensland Pre-Construction Manager

    Elliot brings a wealth of expertise to the table, having served as a Development Manager and Client-Side Project Manager, coupled with a background in Civil Engineering. His extensive career is marked by a consistent track record of overseeing projects in a wide range of sectors, including residential, industrial, healthcare, commercial, retail, and education.

    Elliot specialises in D&C projects and collaborates closely with our clients to ensure a smooth approach from concept through to completion.

    Antonio is a born-and-bred estimator. He offers more than 20 years’ experience in the fit-out industry, and his attention to detail makes him the best in class. Antonio is responsible for all our Estimating needs nationally.

    Antonio is a solutions-man, with an incredible affinity for understanding clients’ needs and expectations. He is highly skilled in tendering, project estimation, cost management, negotiation and quality control. Antonio has worked on some of Sydney’s most prestigious addresses, and takes great pride in everything he does.

     

     

     

    Catherine Daniali

    Position: Design Manager

    Catherine brings an exciting energy and outlook to creative concept design.

    With seven years of experience and an innate ability to visualise the potential of space, she knows exactly what your work environment needs.

    Catherine selects and collaborates with design and architect partners, and oversees the design, programs and management of budget to ensure every project exceeds client expectations.

    She is there every step of the way. Catherine is an effective communicator and is passionate about every project – no matter the size.

    Position: Sales & Marketing Manager

    Danielle’s proven ability in planning and coordination have seen her rise quickly up the ranks in the construction industry.

    She’s highly-organised and self-motivated, able to work with demanding deadlines and precise attention to detail.

    Danielle has more than seven years extensive experience within the industry, and prides herself on her flawless presentations and business planning.

    She’s an outstanding communicator and incredibly proficient at any task that comes her way.

     

     

    Warren Stephens

    Position: HSEQ Manager
    Categories: Management

    Warren has worked in the construction industry for more than 30 years.

    As the health, safety, environment and quality manager at Girvan, he is responsible for conducting random site safety inspections and monthly audits on all sites.

    Warren’s background is extensive – he is qualified as a carpenter and joiner – and his knowledge is a valuable tool for the whole team. He is incredibly caring and always puts people first, ensuring safety is paramount. Warren has trained and completed.
