The Solution

Bathrooms, showers and a state of the art bike facilities were built into a confined basement loading dock to allow staff an alternative to commuting to the office by public transport or car.

Construction included a bespoke locker design with translucent doors and lighting, specialised signs, amenities, lockers, fire hydraulics, Metex metal cladding illuminated from behind, and the installation of a 2 tier push-bike arc and push-bike cradle.

The project also saw us relocated the building’s security to a new office
built within the loading dock. This stage of the project involved relocation of all building essential services BMS, FIP, Lift Control , Building Intercom.

By removing car spaces, encouraging people to ride their bikes to work, and promoting wellness, 126 Phillip Street will help make Sydney a modern, livable city.
