Girvan Group were commissioned by Westpac Banking Corporation to fit out a full floor project space, housing I.T teams and project groups. With an accelerated program, a key deliverable and a small window to complete the works, the construction of services had to meet the Westpac brief and unique IT standards.
The space needed to be agile and flexible to allow for circulation of project teams on 2–3-month rotations, with data works completed inside the live data centre situated on the level.
A custom collaboration bench with sliding track was installed to allow work groups to combine tables for larger meetings or pull them apart for intimate catch-ups. Flexibility was a key element for the Westpac fitout.
