Coogee Diggers Club
The Coogee Diggers Club refurbishment project expertly blends historical elements with modern design to create a unique and dynamic venue. The design focused on uncovering and preserving the building’s Art Deco features from the 1930s while layering in gritty, industrial touches reflective of Sydney’s Inner West.
This approach allowed the venue to tell a new story while remaining faithful to its origins. The project included the creation of new indoor and outdoor seating areas, a TAB/Sports Bar, and a modern bar, enhancing the overall patron experience.
Decorative elements such as tessellated tile panels, traditional timber flooring, and decorative ceilings were incorporated to reflect the building’s historical roots. Additionally, the venue’s amenities and the exterior facade were upgraded with a modern industrial design, seamlessly blending the past and present to deliver a vibrant, welcoming space for the community.
