Jamie’s Italian Sydney
Working closely with Pacific Restaurant Group (PRG) and PeckVonHartel (PVH), Girvan Group was integral in the delivery of the first Jamie’s venue in Australia, and subsequently the delivery of the Canberra restaurant.
We achieved full completion of the Sydney project within a 12- week programme and Canberra within eight weeks. Both projects entailed the complete removal of an existing restaurant, including the facade in Canberra, and reconstruction of the themed Jamie’s Italian design and layout.
Given the theme of the restaurant was designed by a UK team in a joint venture with Australian architects PVH, there was a considerable amount of materials and furniture shipped from overseas that had to be coordinated and incorporated with the construction programme to ensure there was no downtime throughout the build.
